Costa Rica Retreat & Retrain
Yoga Retreat and Training with Lara Heimann
March 9 – March 16 2019
Join Lara Heimann for a yoga retreat and LYT (Lara’s Yoga Training) course in Costa Rica. She is offering a one-of-a-kind yoga retreat and training course to reset your heart, mind, body, and spirit. Retreat from the world and retrain your movement patterns and habits to find more freedom. Enjoy seven peaceful nights and days doing yoga, learning, and exploring at the ultra private Villa Mareas in Uvita Costa Rica, surrounded by over 400 acres of pristine rain forest, with wildlife, waterfalls, and pure beauty.
Start each day with a 90 minute yoga class with Lara where you reset your body and open up to new possibilities on your mat and life. Every afternoon, join Lara for a workshop and class where you will learn how to incorporate reset-methods into your own practice and teaching. She will cover alignment, mobility, myofascial, breath, and bandhas. You can apply the training to 20 hours of LYT certification credits and/or 20 hours of Yoga Alliance continuing education hours.
Enjoy 3 vegan meals a day, prepared by our private chef on location. Plus, gather in the kitchen for vegan cooking demonstrations to learn how to incorporate the flavors of Costa Rica into your dishes back home. A Sierpe Mangrove boat tour through Central America’s largest mangrove and a kayak tour through the jungle are included in your retreat package.
We are the only group at the Villa during our stay and rooms will fill fast so book now!
Within the incredibly lush and green jungles of the Southern Pacific Whales Coast of Costa Rica, Villa Mareas is a sanctuary of its own. The private estate is 18,000 square feet and sits on 36 acres of pristine rainforest and offers trails to waterfalls and expansive views of the Pacific Ocean.
Enjoy the wild life that surrounds Villa Mareas, with over 400 acres of dedicated wild life sanctuary that is home to several troops of monkeys and exotic birds. Stroll through the gardens, take in the Kaleidoscope of tropical flowers, or check out the resident sloth from your terrace.
This is not your typical villa experience. The staff is highly trained and well educated in the Costa Rican history and surroundings. They also serve as guides, greatly enriching the experience.
Swim in the lap of luxury with a 1,700 sq. ft. pool, which is surfaced entirely in blue iridescent glass tile and contains an infinity edge. Enjoy views of the rain forest and the Pacific Ocean below. Toucans can be seen daily from the edge of the pool as they glide in front of you to the “Manglillo” tree.

There is wifi on the Villa Mareas property and cellular service is limited.

If you want to go explore property or find exclusive beaches, we recommend renting 4×4 vehicles to explore the area around Villa Mareas. You can book them directly with the villa when you arrive.
